Experience

Currently, Mr. Baum is managing projects for Amicon Construction.

During Mr. Baum’s first year with Jones Lang, he managed the construction and renovation for over 75 Bank of America retail locations throughout the Midwest region.  Working with various consultants and general contractors, Mr. Baum successfully completed all bank branches under budget and on time.

Mr. Baum began his professional career with Level 5, LLC in Atlanta, GA.  For the first five years he built financial institutions.  From small storefronts in malls to multimillion dollar facilities, he has managed the process from design to construction close-out.  Mr. Baum had multiple responsibilities as the onsite superintendent and project manager.  His day to day activities consisted of negotiating contracts with subcontractors, defining their scope of work, executing contacts and on site management from ground breaking to the opening day ribbon cutting ceremony.

Mr. Baum maintained all of his cost reports while keeping them under budget, as well as creating and maintaining project schedules to meet the client’s expectations.  Spending years on site with the subcontractors gives Mr. Baum a very deep understanding on the nuts and bolts of daily construction activities.
